Many of the ideas will have simple projects and include craft ideas. Having crafts worked into a program can not only help teach concepts but also children love to make things themselves and this can help instill pride in themselves and what they have achieved.

to research when looking for ideas include searching on-line for other types of activities. There are many web-sites that have downloadable projects that can be done in a setting. These sites will list all of the materials needed as well as instructions on how to do the projects or lesson plans.
When putting together a environment make sure to have plenty of centers and activities for this age group. Centers can include an art center, puzzle center building blocks, legos and other creative ways to make things.
Activities can include music time by singing songs or playing instruments. Group's time should also be a set event and should allow for the children to share their ideas and take turns talking.
Reading time is another important part of the daily routine of a preschool. Reading to the children can help them learn new words and concepts and then allowing for them to have a time during the day when they select their own books to look at can help them develop a love for books. Non-fiction books are also important to have on hand as they are curious about how things work.
